Recently Steve and I ventured into Los Angeles to check out electric cars. (You will have to wait to hear what we selected!) We don’t get into LA very often; most of our out of town dining is in Santa Ynez Valley these days. But whenever we do get to LA, we always enjoy an outdoor lunch at AOC in West Hollywood.
AOC is a casual restaurant by chef Suzanne Goin. Steve has her cookbooks and is a big fan of her California French cuisine.
On our recent visit, they seated us on the outside patio which was lovely, but the inside restaurant and courtyard are definitely worth checking out. It has a moody vibe which is perfect for dinner.
They have a really nice selection at lunch- not too heavy. Which was perfect, since we had some car shopping to do!
I really enjoyed the scrambled egg focaccia sandwich and Steve had the roast turkey focaccia sandwich.
Both were delicious but we of course left room for dessert!
We’ll definitely be back for an outdoor lunch at AOC the next time we are in LA.
