I have mixed feelings about Restoration Hardware (now RH) as a brand. I love their towels, their outdoor furniture- but everything is SO expensive. Even the outlet nearby is not a great source of deals. But I appreciate that they are trying to diversify- with hotels and restaurants. So when we were planning a family trip to Yountville, I made reservations for dinner at the RH restaurant one evening.

A road trip to the outlets in Vacaville may not sound like the most exciting weekend road trip. But Sophie and I have been getting a little stir crazy being at home so much. I think this is probably a feeling that a lot of you may share!
And while Kate regularly returns to Santa Ynez Valley for wine tasting when she needs an escape, Sophie and I wanted to look for a few new things to spruce up the house. So we decided to take a road trip to the outlets in Vacaville for some shopping. Namely, the Serena and Lily and the Restoration Hardware outlets.

It’s been a few months since Sophie and I hit the Restoration Hardware and Williams Sonoma outlets in Vacaville. We were disappointed that the Serena & Lily outlet was unexpectedly closed on that trip. I am a huge Serena and Lily fan, but “bargains” and “inexpensive” are not words I would use to describe the store! So when a free weekend came up (right before my mental health day!), I decided to make the drive back to Vacaville to check out the Serena & Lily outlet. After checking that it would indeed be open this time!
